You know what I hate...

...is when I find a ship that I might be interested in (not like Chlollie of course, so don't throw anything at me) and I go searching for some fanfiction and:

A.) No one writes for this fandom so I must be the loser; or

B.) (This is the worst) I start reading, and reading, and reading, and reading.....and it's all CRAP!

I'm not going to name any ships. *sigh* I'm just disappointed. I went to check out an old ship I used to read (I'm all up to date on Chlolie)  and I mean I just didn't like any of the writing. I mean it wasn't crap if I'm honest. I have no business putting down anything, sometimes I can't write for crap. I don't know....for some reason it just seemed to be lacking...everything.

Okay, and then I guess I have another gripe for a ship...

C.) No one writes smut. *gasp!* Yea I know, who knew.

I can understand I love reading fan fiction and i have read a lot of them but sometimes you just get frustrated with crappy writing. I know you would like to applaud the effort that they are putting but sometimes some fanfiction are just bad.

What ship were you looking for? I had a friend who loved obscure ships, you're not alone. More often than not it was slash too. She took it as a challenge to write for them if she couldn't find anything. :)

Maybe you're not looking in the right place. The net is really a bottomless pit of possibilities.

Well I was rereading Danny/Lindsay from CSI:NY, but I could find nothing that I was like, wow this is pretty good.

And then as for the lack of smut, that was directed the Gwen/Arthur on Merlin. There is a lot of great writing, I just don't find a lot of smut. I guess at least not compared to Chlollie. One the bright side, there is more smut with Chlollie. ;)

I did read a Arthur (Merlin series)/ Guinevere (Chloe) fic by Shadowglove recently. I told her that I hope it would lead to smut. I'm hooked. I love it and I almost moped when I realized it was supposed to be a oneshot. She promises a follow up. :)

I've seen only one episode of CSI:NY so I know nothing about the characters relationship at all, or I'd write something for you. Not that I consider myself great or anything, but I just love your Chlollie. And IMO frustrated writers or readers, rarely feel in the mood to produce anything so I was happy to offer a pick me up if I could for the greater good. ;o)

Hi, I'm a lurker here. Yep, you'd be surprised exactly how much crap that's thinly disguised as fan fiction. That's one of the reasons I like this fan-dom and your writing in particular, because without exception it is really good. Thank you! :D
